Job summary

Partners Group is seeking a Denver-based Associate to join the direct private equity investment team, focusing on lead control buyouts with USD 300m–800m+ checks. Role spans origination, execution, structuring and monitoring of portfolio companies within consumer and industrials sectors.

The Associate will drive investment diligence, model development, and negotiation of key terms, while coordinating with external advisors and internal teams to maximize returns.

Qualifications

• Experience leading investment diligence and underwriting.
• Strong financial modeling and scenario analysis skills.
• Ability to structure and negotiate investment terms.
• Experience in private equity and portfolio monitoring.
• Excellent communication with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead investment diligence and underwriting for deals.
• Build detailed financial models and assess capital structure.
• Draft investment committee materials.
• Coordinate with tax, legal, and technical advisors.
• Support deal execution and post-investment monitoring.
