The Consumer Marketing Manager will play an important role in supporting brand strategy and consumer/patient marketing initiatives within the cardiometabolic business.
The Manager will work cross-functionally with teams including HCP Marketing, Market Insights, Market Access, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, and additional key stakeholders. Responsibilities include leading the development and execution of consumer-focused marketing initiatives and supporting media strategy efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Build and maintain relationships with agencies, vendors, and external partners to support successful marketing execution.
- Collaborate with Market Access and Patient Support Program (PSP) teams to understand and support the patient journey.
- Align with HCP marketing strategy to help connect patient and provider experiences.
- Partner closely with Medical, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, and Safety teams throughout project development and review processes.
- Work alongside commercial insights and analytics teams to track, measure, and evaluate marketing performance.
- Collaborate with advocacy organizations and partners to ensure the patient perspective is reflected across marketing initiatives and patient engagement programs.
Executional Excellence
- Lead execution of marketing tactics including CRM email campaigns, websites, social media, digital partnerships, banner ads, video content, and related initiatives.
- Ensure all promotional materials remain aligned with brand standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support development of new marketing materials as well as updates to existing resources.
- Partner with analytics teams to evaluate campaign performance and provide optimization recommendations based on data insights.
- Support print production needs including proofing and forecasting activities.
Brand Strategy Support
- Help maintain and strengthen brand voice and identity across all communications and cross-functional initiatives.
- Support innovative marketing tactics and omnichannel planning focused on patient engagement.
- Identify unmet patient and market needs through research insights and performance metrics to refine marketing execution and strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of pharmaceutical marketing experience.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to support strategic initiatives.
- Excellent communication, leadership, prioritization, and project management capabilities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a flexible environment.
- Self-starter with strong organizational and execution skills.
