Job summary

Republic Finance in Greer, SC seeks a consumer loan specialist to originate new loan business, assess customer needs, and guide borrowers through applications and loan processing. You will close loans, meet goals, and provide exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers a base salary of $32,000 per year (paid hourly) plus an uncapped monthly bonus averaging $8,000 annually, plus health, dental, vision insurance, PTO, a 401(k) with company match, life and disability coverage,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of sales experience (retail, goal-oriented or incentive-based).
• Professional demeanor, positive attitude, strong communication and customer relations skills.
• Ability to work in a high-performing, fast-paced, goal-oriented team environment.
• Ability to manage priorities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Actively seeks opportunities to originate new loan business with new and existing customers.
• Evaluates customer needs to recommend the best consumer loan and voluntary product solutions.
• Completes loan applications, proposals and offers for new borrowers and follows up with pending applicants.
• Assists potential borrowers by explaining the loan process and answering questions about loan products.
• Takes ownership of customer concerns and collaborates with management to address potential problem loans.
• Closes loans, assembles folders, and maintains files; meets or exceeds loan goals.
• Responsible for day-to-day servicing of a growing consumer loan portfolio.
• Provides excellent customer care through daily transactions, inquiries and issue resolution.
