Position SummaryThe Consumer Lending Sales Specialist (CLSS) position is a performance-based, hands-on, customer-focused role responsible for delivering results related to individual and branch sales goals as well as customer expectations. Responsibilities are expected to be completed in compliance with all federal and state regulations and adhere to company policies, procedures, and practices. This position requires attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for sales and customer acquisition.
Job ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service, Sales, Marketing & Customer Acquisition: Actively assist in meeting the center’s performance metrics as defined by management. Utilize sales tools to provide an exceptional customer experience and use sales and marketing techniques to ensure the branch drives new customer growth into storefront and online channels. Be responsible for day-to-day servicing of a growing consumer loan portfolio. Present financial solutions based on customer needs to meet their goals. Develop new relationships and maintain existing ones while working with customers throughout the loan process and lifecycle. Educate customers on the terms and conditions of their loans for clear understanding. Build trust with customers and internal staff by embodying the organization’s philosophy, core values, and purpose. Deploy marketing efforts in the community to generate sales and customer growth, and complete marketing tracking sheets as required.
Operations, Compliance, & Collections: Assist in managing the P&L to meet budgeted numbers and management’s expectations related to center performance. Adhere to the Company’s policies, procedures, and applicable regulations. Maintain accurate cash controls and ensure security procedures align with Company and Loss Prevention (LP) Standards. Accurately enter customer and transaction information into the point of sales system, and maintain accurate customer files with all required documentation. Perform and document collection calls, field visits, and other approved collection activities. Complete other duties as assigned.
Team & Leadership: Work closely with and support others in a positive, team environment to enhance the customer experience.
Education RequiredHigh School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
Experience RequiredSales and/or customer service experience required, or equivalent experience. One year of experience in sales, retail, banking, or collections preferred.
Knowledge RequiredStrong math skills; professional verbal communication; ability to read, write, evaluate, and apply complex information; ability to interact professionally; ability to negotiate payment terms; ability to understand and ensure compliance with industry policies, procedures, and laws; ability to use required computer programs; maintain composure in stressful situations; ability to follow procedures; develop and maintain business relationships.
Physical RequirementsStanding for long periods; sitting occasionally; walking extended distances; bending; squatting; kneeling; pushing/pulling; reaching; twisting; frequent lifting of less than 10 lbs., occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.; driving and having access to insured and reliable transportation; exposure to outdoor elements; typing; data entry; housekeeping/cleaning; use of office equipment.

OtherMust be 18 (19 in AL), eligible to work in the USA, and able to complete all post-offer screens. Regular and punctual attendance is required. Schedules may change to accommodate business needs. Overtime may be required.
