Job summary

Global Credit Union is seeking a detail-oriented Consumer Lending Support role based in the United States. The position focuses on responding to member and branch inquiries, processing, following up on, and funding direct consumer loans, with emphasis on accuracy and service levels.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least six months of general office experience with knowledge of consumer loan products and regulations.

Qualifications

• Six months’ general office work with some knowledge of consumer loan products and regulations preferred.
• Must be well organized, articulate with effective written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in end-user computer technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member service by responding to inquiries from members and branches, and process, follow up on, and fund direct consumer loans.
• Become knowledgeable about Consumer Lending products, services, and processes.
• Learn to become proficient in offering products and services on eligible loans.
• Learn to perform all tasks in assigned queues, leading up to the creation of loan documents and funding or disposition of personal consumer loans and credit cards.
• Produce an acceptable quantity of loans with a high degree of accuracy that meet service level agreements and loan volume objectives.
• Perform all duties accurately, earnestly, and honestly, and maintain a high level of confidentiality to safeguard member information.
• Comply with all federal and state laws, rules, regulations, and Credit Union policies, procedures, and practices.
• Respond to all inquiries within established service level agreements.
• Communicate with everyone in an articulate, diplomatic, and professional manner.
• Assist in all other areas of Consumer Lending, of similar or lower category, as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Reports to: Senior Consumer Lending Processing Supervisor or Consumer Lending Processing Supervisor I or II, as assigned.

Compensation

Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and applicable local or state wage requirements, and will fall within the range provided below. In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall between the minimum and midpoint of the listed range.

$45,633 - $66,624 annually.
