Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in financial services compliance or a related practice area.
• Familiarity with state and federal consumer financial laws and related regulatory frameworks.
• Experience advising financial institutions, fintechs, specialty lenders, or other regulated providers preferred.
• Excellent legal research, analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
• Admission to practice in the jurisdiction where the candidate will reside and work, or eligibility to become admitted promptly upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Advise a broad range of financial services providers on state and federal regulatory compliance requirements.
• Counsel clients regarding origination and underwriting, licensing, documentation, servicing, privacy, collections, and related regulatory matters.
• Assist clients in preparing for and responding to state and federal examinations, investigations, regulatory inquiries, and enforcement actions.
• Analyze and advise on compliance with state and federal consumer financial laws, including TILA, FDCPA, FCRA, RESPA, SCRA, MLA, and analogous state laws.
• Support clients in the development and review of financial products, programs, disclosures, policies, and procedures.
• Advise on corporate structuring, business expansion initiatives, and regulatory considerations for new products and technologies.
• Conduct multi-state legal research and prepare memoranda, client alerts, and other substantive work product.
