Job summary

Publicis Groupe seeks an Account Supervisor, Consumer Media with 5–8 years in PR to develop earned media strategies and secure coverage for clients. You’ll manage media relations, craft pitches, and lead campaigns, translating trends into opportunities.

Strong writing and collaboration in a fast-paced environment are essential. You’ll build national/local media relationships, supervise campaigns, and contribute to strategy development, reporting results to clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in Public Relations agency or in-house
• Proven track record of securing coverage in lifestyle and news media outlets
• Ability to build lasting relationships with media contacts
• Deep interest in current trends and culture to deliver media results
• Strong analytical and written skills to develop and execute media strategies
• Ability to work in a collaborative, creative, entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment
• Experience with media platforms such as Cision, Muck Rack and News Exposure

Responsibilities

• Craft media strategies, lead campaigns from concept to execution and deliver standout media results
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with national, local and trade journalists, editors, and producers
• Assist with program strategies and presentation development for existing clients and new prospects
• Write and distribute press releases, pitches, and media kits that reflect clients' messaging
• Identify and leverage current trends to proactively bring clients earned opportunities
• Lead internal and client meetings relating to earned media efforts and manage next steps
