The successful candidate will have a JD, active Texas bar, and 2+ years of related litigation experience, with strong research, writing, and communication skills. Location: Wisconsin; competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree required and bar in Texas.
• 2+ years of related litigation experience.
• Experience drafting pleadings and handling discovery and trials.
• Familiarity with consumer laws (FDCPA, FCRA, TILA, ECOA) and related regs.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to engage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Litigates on behalf of the Company in state courts where licensed.
• Represents the Company in courts, collects facts, tries cases, and performs litigation tasks.
• Prepares documents, develops strategies, and argues with counsel and court personnel.
• Represents the Company at scheduling conferences, mediations, depositions, hearings and trials.
• Ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
