PRA Group, Inc. seeks an experienced attorney to represent and defend the company in consumer account litigation and related matters across states.
You will prepare and file pleadings and discovery, guide the company’s attorneys, and manage a state-wide litigation team to ensure timely, compliant outcomes. The role requires a JD, CA bar admission (multi-state licenses preferred), 5+ years of relevant litigation experience, and strong written, verbal, and organizational skills to navigate complex
Represents and defends the Company in litigation on consumer accounts and other legal proceedings involving the Company and its affiliates. Prepares and files legal documents, discovery materials and pleadings, and provides guidance to the Company’s attorneys in support of such activities. Responsible for defending the Company against claims filed against it on existing lawsuits. Manages all attorneys within the state.
Responsible for the overall direction, development, coordination and evaluation of employees in accordance with policies and applicable laws. Interviews, trains and appraises employees, plans, assigns and directs work and addresses and resolves issues.
The budgeted pay range for this position is: $130K-$150K. Salary Range: $115,000.00-$125,000.00. PRA Group has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, specific working location and market position. This posted salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, and PRA Group reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications and location of the selected candidate.
