Job summary

ACRT, Inc. in Wyoming is hiring a Consulting Utility Forester for Casper and Riverton duties, performing identification, inspection, and evaluation of trees along utility lines, and coordinating vegetation clearance work.

Requires a forestry degree or 2 years in related fields, GIS and MS Office skills, valid driver’s license; willing to work in varied weather and travel across a district; competitive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Degree in forestry or related field, or high school diploma with 2 years in utility vegetation management.
• ISA Certified Arborist/TRAQ/ISA Utility Specialist preferred.
• Competent with GIS/data collection and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Identify, inspect, and evaluate trees and brush along utility lines.
• Submit inspection results with recommendations to clients.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate vegetation clearance crews.
• Discuss and resolve line-cutting access issues with stakeholders.
• Act as liaison between clients, crews, and customer contacts.
