Mercor is seeking a Consulting Expert for a remote, hourly-contract engagement. The role focuses on producing and reviewing consulting deliverables—ranging from M&A cases to post-merger integration plans—driven by quantitative analysis.

You will synthesize data rooms and due-diligence reports into well-structured, defendable cases and deliver client-ready memos, models, and recommendations with explicit assumptions, risks, and conditions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years at a top consulting or advisory firm or equivalent in-house corporate-development experience.

• Deliver client-ready work products, including memos, models, and recommendations with explicit assumptions, risks, and conditions.
• Evaluate the accuracy and depth of AI-generated content to strengthen reasoning and rigor in model outputs.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• 4+ years at a top consulting or advisory firm or equivalent in-house corporate-development experience.
• Elite structured problem-solving skills with the ability to drive to a defensible recommendation under ambiguity.
• Strong financial and business acumen plus advanced modeling skills and executive-quality written deliverables.
• Comfort owning an engagement independently.
