3Cloud is seeking a Consulting Director - Security to lead the Cloud Platform team and drive the development, innovation, and delivery of Azure security solutions including identity and Zero Trust, threat protection, data protection and governance, and secure AI adoption.

The role blends hands-on architecture oversight with leadership, enabling security delivery standards, GTM enablement, and executive-level advisory to clients on their Azure journey.

• Coordinate cross-practice collaboration with Data, App Innovation and Managed Services teams to deliver a unified customer experience.
• Foster a high-performing, growth-oriented team culture through coaching, mentorship and upskilling initiatives.

Consulting Director - Cloud Security

Overview

The 3Cloud Consulting Director - Security is a leadership role within the Cloud Platform team that oversees the development, innovation, and delivery of our industry-leading Azure security solutions: identity and Zero Trust, threat protection, data protection and governance, and secure AI adoption. These solutions are foundational to a client's transformational Azure journey. The role is designed for practice leaders aspiring to senior leadership and offers the autonomy to drive scalable growth through innovative security solutions and strategic engineering.

Utilization Target

Targeted billable utilization: 5 0%. As a Consulting Director - Security, you are expected to carry a 50% billable utilization target through hands-on client work, such as architecture oversight, security assessments, executive advisory, and senior escalation support. The remaining time is dedicated to leading the practice: people development, solution and offering development, go-to-market and pre-sales, and key account oversight. Consulting Managers on your team carry a 75% billable target, and you are accountable for the combined delivery performance of the team.

People Development

As a Consulting Director - Security, you are responsible for cultivating a high‑performing, growth‑oriented team culture.

• Coaching and mentorship: Act as a coach in a player‑coach model, giving hands‑on guidance to Consulting Managers, security architects, and engineers. Foster continuous improvement anchored in a growth mindset.
• Consultative leadership: Promote a consultative approach across the team. Encourage strong relationship‑building with clients and peers, and lead by example through thought leadership and strategic influence.
• Skills inventory and upskilling: Regularly assess the team's security skills across identity, threat protection, data protection, cloud security, and AI security. Build upskilling and Microsoft certification plans (such as SC-100, SC-300, SC-200, SC-500, and SC-401) so every team member has a clear career path.
• Vision and strategy for delivery excellence: Set and communicate a compelling vision for security delivery excellence. Work with clients at the leadership level (CISOs, security and IT leaders) to align business‑needs and desired outcomes.
• Proactive communication and risk management: Establish open communication channels within the team and with clients. Anticipate risks and escalations early and empower the delivery team to address them.
• Cross‑practice collaboration: Champion a "One 3Cloud" experience by working with Data, App Innovation, and Managed Services teams, including handoffs to security operations and managed services.

Solution Development, GTM Enablement and Delivery Execution

You orchestrate the development, enablement, and execution of security solutions that drive client success and business growth.

• Solution development and innovation: Lead the evolution of security solutions in your area. Partner with team leads to design, refine, and implement scalable delivery standards that keep quality consistent from presale through post-sale execution.
• Solution definition frameworks: Own and continuously improve frameworks for security engagements (assessments, Zero Trust and identity roadmaps, Sentinel and Defender deployments, Purview rollouts, Copilot and AI security readiness), and make sure teams adopt them.
• Go-to-market strategy and enablement: Work with sales executives to shape and execute go-to-market strategies. Support the pursuit and close of key opportunities with subject matter expertise.
• Client relationship expansion: Help build customer security roadmaps and next steps that deepen relationships beyond current engagements. Champion "Land and Expand."
• Senior delivery escalation and stakeholder management: Build strong relationships with key client stakeholders and serve as a senior escalation point so client expectations are managed and exceeded.
