Job Type: Denti-Cal Consultations

Summary:

We are looking for a Consulting Dentist to join our Bay Area OSM team two days a week to provide Denti-Cal consultations.

Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate a patient's oral health needs, discuss treatment options, and develop a treatment plan for dental care covered under the Denti-Cal program.
2. Meet with patients to perform general exams and clarify airway issues.
3. Review x-rays.
4. Discuss procedure risks and anesthesia with patients.
5. Maintain excellent chair-side manner.

Required Qualifications:

1. Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) Degree.
2. NBDE Board Certified.
3. Experience seeing Denti-Cal patients.
4. Must have or be willing to obtain Denti-Cal/Medi-Cal credentials.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Ability to provide excellent patient care, even under stressful circumstances.
7. Maintain professionalism in appearance and attitude.

Preferred:

• Experience with WinOms Software.

Schedule:

• 1 to 4 days per week, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
• Schedule is subject to change.

Special Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for at least 80% of the time.
• Physical requirements include driving, sitting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
