Job Type: PRN/1099

Summary:

We are looking for a Consulting Dentist to join our Bay Area OSM team two days a week to provide Denti-Cal consultations.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate a patient's oral health needs, discuss treatment options, and develop a treatment plan for dental care covered under the Denti-Cal program.
• Meet with patients to perform general exams and clarify airway concerns.
• Review x-rays.
• Discuss procedure risks and anesthesia with patients.
• Maintain excellent chair-side manner.

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) Degree.
• NBDE Board Certified.
• Must have or be willing to obtain Denti-Cal/Medi-Cal credentials.
• Experience seeing Denti-Cal patients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to provide excellent patient care, even under stressful circumstances.
• Professional appearance and attitude.

Preferred:

• WinOms Software experience.

Schedule:

• San Leandro and additional Bay Area office locations as agreed.
• 1 to 4 days per week, approximately 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.
• Schedule subject to change.

Special Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for at least 80% of the time.
• Physical requirements include driving, sitting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
