Job summary

The Eye Center of Southern Indiana is seeking a full-time consultative Optometrist to join a collaborative OD/MD team in Southern Indiana. You will work alongside experienced ophthalmic surgeons in a high-volume practice, handling cataract evaluations, IOL counseling, and management of glaucoma and other ocular diseases.

You will contribute to a busy surgical and medical eye care program, offering consults and referrals to optometrists within a trusted network.

Qualifications

• Full-time consultative Optometrist with licensure in good standing.
• Experience with cataract evaluations and premium IOL counseling preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with ophthalmic surgeons in a high-volume setting.
• Proficient in managing glaucoma and common ocular diseases.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-operative cataract evaluations and premium IOL counseling.
• Oversee post-operative care within a high-volume surgical program.
• Evaluate and manage glaucoma and other ocular diseases.
• Diagnose and manage retinal, oculoplastic, anterior segment conditions.
• Provide consultations and collaborative support for referring optometrists.
