Job summary

The Eye Center of Southern Indiana is seeking a full-time consultative Optometrist to join our OD/MD team in Southern Indiana, working with ophthalmic surgeons in a high-volume setting.

Responsibilities include pre-operative cataract evaluations with IOL counseling, postoperative care, glaucoma and ocular disease management, and collaboration with referring optometrists. Clinicians use Heidelberg Spectralis OCT and LenSx among other advanced diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Full-time consultative Optometrist in Southern Indiana.
• Practice full scope of training within a high-volume referral center.
• Collaborate with ophthalmic surgeons in OD/MD team.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-operative cataract evaluations and IOL counseling.
• Manage postoperative care across a high-volume surgical program.
• Evaluate and manage glaucoma and other ocular diseases.
• Diagnose and manage retinal, oculoplastic, and anterior segment conditions.
• Provide consultations for referring optometrists.
