Job description

What Technical Writing contributes to Cardinal Health

Technical Writing is responsible for working with BAs, QAs, engineers, product managers, and other subject matter experts to develop technical product and process support documentation.

Responsibilities

  1. Demonstrate ability to communicate written and graphically with various audiences, including c-suite executives.
  2. Create presentation guide documents for client review using graphic design tools.
  3. Ensure documents and imaging meet Cardinal Health standards.
  4. Modify graphic images as needed.
  5. Create software application templates.
  6. Edit forms for system mapping.
  7. Create organizational presentations and documentation.
  8. Contribute to the development of templates, infographics, and screenshot markups.
  9. Create instructional documents and videos.
  10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and translate complex technical concepts into accessible content.
  11. Create, edit, and maintain concise and user-friendly technical documentation packages.

Qualifications

  • 4-8 years of experience, preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
  • Experience with Adobe Suite preferred.
  • Graphic design experience preferred.

  • Work on complex projects of large scope.
  • Develop technical solutions to difficult problems.

  • Complete work independently with general guidance on new projects.
  • Work reviewed to ensure objectives are met.
  • May mentor less experienced colleagues.

Additional information

  • Anticipated salary range: $79,700 - $113,800.
  • Bonus eligible: No.
