Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Technical Writer Sr. Advisor to join our Data Modeling and Data Governance product team. The role requires understanding of databases, data governance, data modeling, and expertise in MadCap Flare or similar help authoring tools.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and manage technical documentation and reviews for complex product features.
2. Develop and oversee the technical communication strategy, ensuring alignment with product development lifecycles.
3. Establish standards, guidelines, and processes for technical content creation and management.
4. Build relationships with stakeholders to understand needs and advocate for effective technical communication.
5. Lead and mentor a team of technical writers.
6. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity of technical content.
7. Evaluate and implement technical writing tools and technologies.
8. Streamline technical writing processes to improve efficiency.
9. Track key performance indicators related to technical communication.
10. Develop deep domain and product knowledge, and train the team on it.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in technical writing for enterprise software.
• Strong understanding of database and data modeling concepts.
• Proficiency in MadCap Flare or similar tools, Git, HTML/CSS.
• Good understanding of technical support and documentation platforms like Zoomin.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong collaboration skills and team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and resolve blockers.
