Job summary

Ryan is seeking a Consulting Business Solutions professional to collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and enhance business and technology solutions. You will assist with requirements gathering, data analysis, and documentation to drive compliance and client value.

The role supports project execution by analyzing processes, researching technical matters, and validating data, working with Managers, Project Managers, SMEs, and stakeholders to meet timelines and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Technology, or related field.
• Strong technical and/or data analysis experience.
• Business Analyst experience a plus.
• Strong customer service background/experience.
• Two-year associates degree in a technical or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define solutions.

The Consultant, Business Solutions (“Consultant”) collaborates with cross-functional teams to support the design, implementation, and enhancement of business and technology solutions that drive operational efficiency, tax compliance, and client value. The Consultant assists with requirements gathering, process analysis, solution configuration, data analysis, and documentation to support consulting engagements and enterprise initiatives.

This role contributes to project execution by analyzing business and system processes, researching technical matters, manipulating and validating data, and supporting the implementation and testing of technology-enabled solutions. The Consultant works closely with Managers, Project Managers, Subject-Matter Experts, and stakeholders across Service Delivery and Global Shared Services to ensure objectives are achieved within defined timelines, quality standards, and business requirements.

Client:

• Assists with the creation of client deliverables, including drafting, editing, and compiling documentation and reports.
• Gathers, extracts, reconciles, and analyzes client data to support consulting, compliance, and business solution initiatives.
• Researches and analyzes technical and operational issues and communicates findings clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Responds to client inquiries and supports interactions with taxing authorities or other external stakeholders, as applicable.
• Supports Managers and Project Managers in developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, and stakeholder communications.
• Travels to client locations, as necessary, to obtain documentation and support solution deployment.
• Establishes and maintains professional relationships to ensure successful project execution and delivery.

• Analyzes existing business and system processes and provides recommendations to improve efficiency, automation, compliance, and overall effectiveness.
• Assists in developing and documenting business and technical requirements aligned with organizational objectives.

• Drafts documentation and supporting materials required for compliance, advisory, or operational processes, as applicable.
• Assists with risk identification, issue resolution, and quality assurance activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Technology, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Strong technical and/or data analysis experience.
• Business Analyst experience a plus
• Strong customer service background/experience.
• Two-year associates degree in a technical or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Computer Skills:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products.

Certificates and Licenses:

Valid driver’s license required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

• Standard indoor working environment.
• Long periods of sitting while working at computer.
• Occasional long periods of standing.
• Position requires regular interaction with employees at all levels of the Firm and vendors both in-person and via e-mail and telephone.
• Independent travel requirement: up to 25%
