Job summary

ibp2 is seeking an Associate – Planning Services to deliver demand or supply planning outcomes for clients. You will manage planning models, analyze data, document assumptions, and collaborate with clients and consultants to improve planning systems and tools.

The role emphasizes proactive planning, process consulting, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on client value and time-to-value.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in supply planning, preferably within an S&OP structure
• 2+ years using APS tools like SAP, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, Oracle, etc.
• Strong written and verbal communication with outside stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to work at the intersection of process, data, tools, and technology
• Proven presentation capabilities in both content and delivery
• 1+ years of Demand Planning experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage supply planning inputs and generate analysis and actions balancing inventory and service levels
• Collaboratively work with plant teams to set schedules and production sequencing
• Participate in S&OP meetings and prepare insights to drive supply plan improvements
• Analyze end-to-end planning processes spanning demand and supply planning within the client’s organization
• Evaluate data structures, data models, and tools in end-to-end planning with KPIs in mind

The Role

The Associate – Planning Services provides our clients with tactical planning expertise and process consulting. As an Associate – Planning Services you will work with the client engagement leader to deliver either demand or supply planning outcomes for our clients. We are looking for a passionate, savvy planner to proactively manage demand and/or supply plans, analyze data, document assumptions, and manage planning models that drive positive business results for our clients. Additionally, you will work with the client and other consultants to engineer collaboration and provide feedback and requirements that enhance planning systems and tools.

Process Expertise

• Ability to manage supply planning inputs and generate analysis and actions that balance inventory and service levels.
• Establish and Refine Supply Policies, Master Production Schedules, Purchase Requisitions, and Stock Transfers.
• Collaboratively work with plant teams to set schedules and production sequencing to ensure production attainment and schedule adherence.
• Participate in S&OP meetings and preparation sessions to document insights that drive supply plan improvements.
• Analyze and document end-to-end planning processes spanning the demand and supply planning functions within our client’s organization.
• Evaluate planning-related data structures, data models, and technology tools involved in the end-to-end planning process, with an emphasis on analyzing links to strategic KPIs.
