Job summary

Incline Alchemy, Inc. partners with higher education, state and local government, and healthcare institutions to maximize Workday investments.

We are hiring a Workday Student Financials consultant with 1–3 years of relevant experience to join our remote team. You will complete Workday prep and certification, execute student financials implementations, assist with data migrations, and collaborate with teams to ensure customer success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
• 1–3 years of higher education experience in Student Financial Services.
• Experience with Workday Student or similar systems.
• Strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel up to 40% and obtain Workday certifications.

Responsibilities

• Complete Workday prep and certification training and become proficient in Workday Student Financials.
• Execute day-to-day Workday Student implementations for customers, including design, prototype development, conversion, testing, and reviews.
• Assist customers with legacy data migration into Workday.
• Assist the integration team with configuring and testing Workday integrations with third-party or custom solutions.
• Collaborate with engagement managers to align project plans and budgets.

Your responsibilities

• Successfully complete Workday prep and certification training, and become an expert at Workday Student Financials
• Execute the day-to-day activities on Workday Student implementations for customers including process design, demonstrate configurations through the development of prototypes, conversion, testing, and project reviews with customers
• Assist the customer team to help convert legacy data into Workday
• Assist the integration consulting team in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and other third‑party or custom solutions
• Serve as a professional role model
• Collaborate effectively and synergistically to team‑based projects
• Ensure customers understand and take advantage of Alchemy and Workday best practices
• Help ensure customers remain referenceable
• Support Alchemy post‑production services customers through defect resolution
• Partner with Engagement Managers to ensure alignment across project plans and allocated budgets
• Strive to innovate and suggest new approaches and tools to deploy Workday efficiently and effectively
• Maintain Workday certifications and qualifications

About you (Required skills)

• Bachelor's Degree, ideally with a Finance or Accounting concentration
• 1-3 years of relevant higher education experience in Student Financial Services, assisting the Bursar, Controller's Office, Student Accounts, Billing, etc.
• Experience working with Student solutions: Workday, Colleague, Banner, Kuali, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, or similar applications
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively manage audience expectations
• Passion for providing exceptional customer service
• Ability to effectively manage against timelines and goals
• Ability to travel up to 40%
• Willingness to obtain and maintain relevant Workday certification(s) as required for the role.
