Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Project Manager. Located in Gloucester, this position allows for a combination of on-site work and remote work flexibility.

The Project Manager will oversee the progress of multiple projects, facilitate communication between teams, and ensure deliverables are met on time.

Responsibilities

• Managing timelines
• Assisting in expediting project tasks
• Coordinating inspections
• Ensuring efficient delivery management
• Working closely with stakeholders to support project goals and operational excellence

One of the core requirements of this role is for applicants to hold a current SC clearance.

Skills

• Clear written and verbal communication, with the confidence to engage clients and senior stakeholders
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage tasks, priorities, and deadlines
• Analytical mindset - able to understand problems, structure information, and propose practical solutions
• Comfortable working with data, documents, and basic reporting (e.g. plans, RAID logs, actions)
• A collaborative approach and willingness to learn from feedback

Experience

• Some exposure to project, programme, or change environments (through work, placements, internships, or university projects)
• Experience supporting delivery activities such as planning, tracking actions, preparing materials, or coordinating meetings
• Interest in consulting and working with public sector or complex organisations
• Experience working in professional environments with multiple stakeholders (desirable, not essential)

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent professional experience. Working towards, or interest in gaining, a recognised project management qualification.
