As a Consultant Construction Program Manager, you will help strategically plan, coordinate and execute asset renewal projects within the capital construction portfolio. This is an opportunity to provide strategic leadership and program management expertise to ensure the successful development and implementation of a long-range Asset Renewal Program. The Consultant Construction Program Manager will help transform asset strategies into executable capital programs, ensuring investments are prioritized, coordinated, and delivered in a manner that maximizes asset reliability, operational effectiveness, and long-term value.
What You Will Do As the Consultant Construction Program Manager, you will play a key role in the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of a long-term Asset Renewal Program, supporting the development and delivery of a rolling 10-year capital investment strategy. This position serves as a critical link between engineering, construction, operations, asset management, and leadership teams to ensure projects are prioritized, scoped, and delivered in alignment with organizational objectives, asset health requirements, and financial targets.
Lead coordination and integration activities associated with a multi-year Asset Renewal Program and 10-year capital planning cycle. Facilitate development of strategic program roadmaps, prioritization frameworks, and project sequencing plans to optimize asset performance, reliability, and lifecycle value.
Collaborate with engineering, construction, operations, supply chain, and finance stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and advance asset renewal opportunities.
Support portfolio governance processes, including project screening, risk assessment, funding justification, and executive reporting.
Monitor program performance and provide recommendations to address schedule, budget, resource, and execution risks. Develop and maintain program-level schedules, dashboards, metrics, and reporting tools to track progress against business objectives.
Coordinate planning activities across multiple projects to identify interdependencies, resource constraints, and opportunities for efficiency. Facilitate workshops, planning sessions, and stakeholder engagement activities to align priorities and drive decision-making.
Support development of business cases, capital investment plans, and long-range budget forecasts.
Ensure program execution strategies incorporate constructability, resource availability, outage coordination, environmental considerations, and regulatory requirements.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities and implement best practices for program and portfolio management.

The targeted base pay for this position is $148,300 to $173,000 annually.* Base pay is one component of our comprehensive total rewards package which includes an annual incentive bonus, employer-sponsored pension plan, 401(k) match, HSA contribution, life & disability insurance, health care benefits, generous time off plans, flexible work arrangements, and much more. *The pay range is a general guideline.
