Job summary

Dietary Solutions, serving Skilled Nursing Facilities and group homes in the Scranton area, seeks a Consultant Dietitian or Dietetic Technician to join our flexible team in Scranton, PA. The role supports resident nutrition, collaborates with facility care teams, and upholds regulatory standards and best practices in clinical nutrition.

Ideal candidates are licensed or eligible Registered Dietitians or ACEND-accredited tech program graduates, with strong communication, time management, and EMR

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Dietitian or eligible and licensed/certified per state requirements or completed an ACEND dietetic technician program with an associate's degree.
• ACEND-accredited didactic program or coordinated program in dietetics with a bachelor’s degree is acceptable; registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with facility care teams to promote nutritional well-being while upholding regulatory standards and clinical best practices.
• Assist with care planning, MDS considerations, and PDPM as part of nutrition support.
• Maintain accurate documentation and use EMR systems proficiently.

Your Next Role: Consultant Dietitian/ Dietetic Technician – Full-time, Part-Time, PRN, or Contract

Who You Are

You're the right fit for our team if you:

• Are a Registered Dietitian (or eligible) and licensed/certified per state requirements OR completed an ACEND dietetic technician program and earned an associate's degree at a U.S. regionally accredited college or university OR completed an ACEND-accredited didactic program or coordinated program in dietetics and earned a bachelor's degree at a U.S. regionally accredited college or university; registration with Commission on Dietetic Registration preferred

• Communicate effectively and solve problems with confidence
• Have strong time management, documentation, and organizational skills
• Understand clinical nutrition, care planning, MDS Section K, and PDPM
