Cardinal Health is seeking a Consultant, Customer Solutions – Project Management based in Boston, MA. The role leads customer-focused supply chain projects, using Cardinal Health tools and reporting to improve inventory management, workflow efficiency, and overall solution performance at customer sites.

You will work onsite at hospitals across Eastern Massachusetts, build relationships, present benefits, manage project portfolios, and collaborate with the Sr.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years healthcare supply chain or healthcare project management experience.
• Ability to work independently and problem solving.
• Strong supply chain and customer-facing experience.
• Experience with Workday or Epic systems.
• Data analytics proficiency: Excel Pivot tables and Tableau.
• Experience working within inventory management systems and other databases.

Responsibilities

• Support supply chain expertise onsite to support inventory reconciliation and optimize service/solution.
• Lead and manage a portfolio of projects for the customer.
• Work onsite at customer locations, from hospital departments to Surgery Centers.
• Cultivate relationships to ensure successful customer experience and long-term relationships.
• Articulate benefits and adoption strategies to customer supply chains to drive efficiency and optimization.
• Conduct customer presentations and internal account planning.
• Be a customer advocate to ensure issues are resolved timely while adhering to Team policies.
• Collaborate with Sr. Consultant on opportunities within the account.
• Work in a cross functional team both externally and internally.
• Report via Excel and use Cardinal Health reporting tools.

What Customer Solutions Contributes to Cardinal Health

The Customer Solutions team provides sales consultation through direct engagement “inside the four walls” of our customer’s sites of care, through a menu of standard assessments, insights, and analytical tools to improve the customer’s supply chain performance and provide value, while advancing differentiation for Cardinal Health. We partner with Customers and our Distribution Centers to optimize and improve the overall supply chain by serving as a Trusted Advisor.

Job Summary

The Consultant, Customer Solutions – Project Management will be responsible for leading customer-focused supply chain projects, using Cardinal Health tools and reporting to improve inventory management, workflow efficiency, and overall solution performance, while supporting additional process improvement initiatives as needed.

Location:

Ideal candidate will be based in Boston, MA. This position will require candidates to work onsite at various hospitals locations within the Eastern Massachusetts area.

Work Schedule:

The schedule will be onsite Monday through Friday during various hospital working hours.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for supporting supply chain expertise and working with the customer onsite to support inventory reconciliation process changes to maintain and optimize the service / solution.
• Responsible for leading and managing a portfolio of projects for the customer.
• Works onsite at customer locations, which could range from a hospital department to a Surgery Center.
• Cultivate relationships to ensure successful customer experience and long-term relationships with customers.
• Articulate benefits and adoption strategies to customer’s supply chains to drive efficiency and optimization that helps drive a more positive customer experience and help retain business with Cardinal Health.
• Conduct customer presentations and internal account planning.
• Responsible for customer advocacy to ensure issues are resolved in a timely and effective manner while adhering to Customer Solutions Team policies and procedures.
• Collaboration with Sr. Consultant, Customer Solutions Team on opportunities within the account.
• Work in a cross functional team both externally and internally.
• Responsible for reporting via Excel learning and utilizing Cardinal Health Customer Optimization tools and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• 3+ years of healthcare supply chain and/or healthcare project management experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and biased toward problem solving preferred.
• Strong supply chain and customer facing experience preferred.
• Experience with Workday or Epic systems preferred.
• Data and Analytics proficiency: Excel (Pivot tables) and Tableau preferred.
• Experience working within inventory management systems and other databases, preferred.
• Customer/Vendor credentialing may be required (this may include vaccinations). More details will be provided if you are selected for an interview.

Anticipated salary range

$92,000-$118,170
