Job summary

Job description

Position Overview

Consultant role at Ducker Carlisle, a boutique consulting and M&A advisory firm serving corporate and financial clients. The role involves conducting research and analysis across one or two project teams, producing client presentations and deliverables, and presenting findings to clients and senior staff. The position can be based out of Boston, MA or Troy, MI.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing analyses using spreadsheets, database tools, statistical analysis and process mapping to meet project goals
• Conducting analyses utilizing assumption testing and sensitivity analysis
• Gathering research by conducting interviews, searching literature or the Internet and interpreting survey results
• Summarizing research findings
• Authoring client presentations and other deliverables
• Presenting findings to clients and to senior consulting staff

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree from a top tier university
• 2-3 years of experience in strategy consulting
• Outstanding analytical abilities
• Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
• Advanced skills within Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with analytical modeling, statistical analysis, optimization, and/or manipulation of large datasets
• Able to conduct analyses utilizing assumption testing and sensitivity analysis
• A professional demeanor
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
• Willingness to travel as travel is an integral part of this role
• Familiarity with programming languages Python, R, SQL or statistical packages is preferred
• Pricing experience or experience managing revenue components such as discounts, promotions, rebates, loyalty programs is preferred

Compensation

Estimated base salary range: $90,000 – $115,000 annually. Compensation is determined based upon qualifications, experience, and location. Consultants are also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on company, team, and individual performance.
