Ducker Carlisle is a boutique consulting and M&A advisory firm serving corporate and financial clients across global industry sectors such as motor vehicle, building & construction, and heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing analyses using spreadsheets, database tools, statistical analysis, and process mapping to meet project goals
• Conducting analyses utilizing assumption testing and sensitivity analysis
• Gathering research by conducting interviews, searching literature or the Internet, and interpreting survey results
• Summarizing research findings
• Authoring client presentations and other deliverables
• Presenting findings to clients and senior consulting staff

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree from a top tier university
• 2-3 years of experience in strategy consulting
• Outstanding analytical abilities
• Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
• Advanced skills within Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with analytical modeling, statistical analysis, optimization, and/or manipulation of large datasets
• Able to conduct analyses utilizing assumption testing and sensitivity analysis
• Professional demeanor
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
• Willingness to travel as travel is an integral part of this role
• Familiarity with programming languages Python, R, SQL, or statistical packages is preferred
• Pricing experience or experience managing revenue components such as discounts, promotions, rebates, loyalty programs is preferred

Compensation

Estimated base salary range: $90,000 – $115,000 annually. Exact compensation is determined based on qualifications, experience, and location. Consultants are also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on company, team, and individual performance.

Location

This role can be based out of Boston, MA or Troy, MI.

Working Arrangement

We encourage all staff to work from a Ducker Carlisle office as often as is feasible; our hybrid schedule suggests that most local team members work in the office 3‑4 days per week when not traveling to clients.
