Emergent Method is seeking an organized, proactive problem solver to begin a career in management consulting. You will support projects across strategic planning, project management, research and data analytics, and strategic communication, delivering transformative results for well-known clients.

You will own components of projects, manage timelines, and help develop client-facing documents while learning about various industries.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in business, communication studies, or a related field.
• Experience in business management, project management, the public sector, consulting, or comparable experience demonstrating the skills needed for this role.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• The ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and deliverables at once.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• You’ll work alongside experienced team members on projects requiring clear thinking and excellent execution across strategic planning, project management, research and data analytics, facilitation, and strategic communication.
• Support client engagements related to strategic planning, research, data analytics, meeting and retreat facilitation, consensus building, and strategic communication.
• Manage your pieces of a project: developing plans and timelines, tracking actions, reporting progress, incorporating feedback, delivering on milestones.
• Draft client-facing plans, presentations, proposals, memos, and other documents with careful language, formatting, and consistency.
• Learn a wide variety of subject matter related to client industries and develop processes to improve ideas and deliverables.

The Work You Can Do:

As a consultant, you’ll work alongside experienced team members to contribute directly to projects that call for clear thinking and excellent execution across strategic planning, project management, research and data analytics, facilitation, and strategic communication.

You Work May Include:

• Supporting client engagements related to strategic planning, research, data analytics, meeting and retreat facilitation, consensus building, and strategic communication
• Identifying client needs, defining goals and objectives, and developing communication deliverables, plans, and campaigns that are aligned with client goals
• Managing your pieces of a project: developing plans and timelines, tracking action items and deadlines, reporting progress on milestones, incorporating feedback, and seeing work through to delivery
• Drafting client-facing plans, presentations, proposals, memos, and other documents with careful attention to language, formatting, and consistency
• Learning a wide variety of subject matter related to client industries
• Developing processes and spotting opportunities to improve an idea, solve a problem, or make a deliverable stronger
