Qualifications

• Experience in traffic control or related field preferred.
• Strong observational skills to identify safety risks on site.
• Excellent communication for interacting with team members and the public.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather while adhering to safety regulations.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Must be 21 or over for insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic flow around construction sites to ensure worker and public safety.
• Communicate clearly with construction teams, heavy equipment operators, and pedestrians.
• Monitor site conditions and report hazards or unsafe practices immediately.
• Operate a half ton or ¾ ton company truck.
• Maintain signage and barriers to guide traffic around work zones.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning.
