Job summary

Qualified candidates have 8+ years of construction experience, a high school diploma or GED, and credentials (NCCER CCI, OSHA 510/500, NSC Lift Truck, AHA BLS).

Qualifications

• 8+ years of verifiable construction experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• NCCER CCI, OSHA 510/500, NSC Lift Truck, AHA BLS credentials.
• Strong knowledge of site safety, materials handling, and laborer skills.
• Ability to deliver engaging instruction to diverse learners.
• Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and teach courses in construction related programs, such as NCCER Construction Craft Laborer, Construction Site Safety, Core, etc.
• Facilitate classroom-based learning and hands-on lab instruction, ensuring safety per OSHA standards.
• Evaluate student performance through assessments in accordance with NCCER standards.
• Prepare students for industry-recognized certifications.
• Collaborate with employers to facilitate internships, apprenticeships, and job placements.
• Stay updated on industry advancements and integrate them into course content.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal workforce training standards.
• Maintain accurate student records and report outcomes to funding agencies.
• Foster a positive, engaging learning environment.
• Collaborate with program staff for student success and program development.
• Perform administrative or mentorship duties as needed.
