Aerotek is hiring a Solar General Laborer for a large-scale solar construction project in San Antonio, TX. This contract, onsite role offers hands-on experience with pile, racking, and module installation on a production-focused site.

Expect outdoor work, tool use, daily goals, and safety-first practices. Work generally Monday–Friday with some overtime; pay starts around $20/hr, with eligibility for benefits including health coverage and retirement plans.

Solar General Laborer - San Antonio, TX - $22+/hr.

Job Description

Join a large-scale solar construction project supporting pile, racking, or module installation crews. This role involves outdoor construction work, material handling, use of power and hand tools, and assisting with the installation of solar infrastructure in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with pile, racking, and solar module installation.

• Unload, stage, and transport construction materials across the jobsite.

• Use hand and power tools to assemble and secure solar components.

• Measure and verify placement, alignment, and installation quality.

• Support equipment operators and maintain daily production goals.

• Perform general site cleanup, material organization, and safety tasks.

• Follow blueprints, supervisor instructions, and site safety requirements.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

Work Environment

Outdoor solar construction site. Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions, standing and walking for extended periods, and working in a production-focused environment with daily goals.

Schedule

Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm, Overtime as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
