Job summary
An engineering consulting firm is in search of a Construction Inspector for Welding and Coating in Pittsburgh, PA. Qualifications
- 5 years of experience with construction welding inspections.
- 2 years of experience in coating inspections and structural bolting inspections.
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector and minimum five years of experience relating to steel fabrication.
- NACE Level I or higher for coating inspection or SSPC Inspector Level 1.
- Certification in accordance with AASHTO G4.2 guidelines is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Inspect construction projects for compliance with plans and specifications.
- Perform welding and coating inspections and provide reports.
- Monitor contractor's quality system and ensure safety plans are adhered to.
