Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen and must pass a federal background review and drug screen.
• High School graduate with 5 years of experience in construction welding inspections.
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector with experience related to steel fabrication.
• Must have NACE Level I or higher certification.
• Experience with the Three-Phase QC/Inspection process.

Responsibilities

• Observe and inspect construction projects for compliance with specifications.
• Perform welding inspections related to steel fabrication.
• Conduct coating inspections and testing of coating systems.
• Provide recommendations for contract plans and specifications.
• Monitor contractor’s quality system.
