Job summary

Centuri Construction Group, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Worker to maintain the shop and warehouse, ensuring materials and tools are available as needed. The role involves light driving, inventory handling, and general warehouse upkeep in a dynamic construction environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating with yard operations, receiving and distributing items, and maintaining organized records. Candidates should have a high school diploma and the ability to operate vehicles in tight spaces,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate and maneuver vehicles and equipment in tight spaces within a storage area.
• Prior experience with inventory counting and tracking methods.

Responsibilities

• Keep shop/warehouse clean, organized and free of debris.
• Assist with yard operations including loading, assembling orders, and stocking.
• Receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products in the warehouse.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items.
• Assemble, count, and count stock items.
• Drive a vehicle within the local area to transport supplies and materials.
• Operate various vehicles/equipment as needed.
• Use computer record keeping to track inventory and equipment.
• Maintain file system for warehouse functions.
• Perform other tasks as requested by leadership.

Our projects rely on having the right materials at the right times in order to make construction projects successful. A well maintained shop and warehouse is the key to making that happen. The Warehouse Worker is responsible for making sure the shop and/or warehouse is well maintained and provides manual labor for all warehouse functions.

What You'll Do

• Ensure the shop and warehouse areas are kept clean, organized, and free of debris
• Assist with yard operations including the loading of pipe, assembling orders, general cleaning, organization, stocking, and repairs
• Receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items
• Assemble, mark, open, and count various stock items
• Drive a vehicle (generally one ton or less) within the local area to transport passengers and make routine pickup/delivery of supplies and materials
• Operate several types of power motor vehicles including but not limited to: Single Axle & Tandem Axle Truck Tractors, Medium Duty, Single Axle Dump Trucks & Flatbed Crew Trucks, Semi-Tailors, Flatbed, End Dump, Lowboys, and Equipment Tailors
• Utilize computer record keeping system to track and monitor inventory, small tools, and equipment
• Maintain file system for all warehouse functions
• Performs other tasksas requested by leadership
