Job summary

J. Benton Construction, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead warehouse, yard, and logistics operations across active construction projects in the Virgin Islands.

You will ensure efficient flow of materials, tools, and equipment while maintaining accurate inventory, safety compliance, and cost efficiency to support uninterrupted field operations. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to safety and process improvement, with experience

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in warehouse or logistics management, preferably in construction
• Strong working knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating multi-site logistics operations
• Valid driver’s license required

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse, yard, and logistics operations including receiving, storage, staging, and distribution of materials and equipment
• Implement and maintain accurate inventory and asset tracking systems to minimize loss, damage, and downtime
• Coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries with vendors, drivers, and project teams to support active job sites
• Plan and forecast material and equipment needs in alignment with project schedules and procurement plans
• Manage company‑owned tools, equipment, and rental assets throughout their lifecycle
• Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff, drivers, and material handlers
• Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA‑compliant warehouse and yard environment
• Enforce company safety policies, equipment standards, and PPE requirements
• Monitor operational costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste
