Qualifications

• At least 1 year of heavy highway, road, concrete, form setting, or bridge construction laborer experience.
• Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
• General labor skills and familiarity with construction work environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks involving physical labor on construction projects.
• Assist concrete, drainage, and retaining wall crews as needed.
• Load and unload materials.
• Flag traffic passing near or around work zones.
• Set up and maintain traffic control.
• Operate hand and power tools as required.
• Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate hazards.
• Work in varying weather conditions.
• Lift, push, and pull items up to 50 pounds.
• Perform plant labor duties such as shoveling, washing, and chipping as needed.
