Job summary

AIG’s Specialty Construction division is seeking an Analyst in Underwriting to support risk evaluation for construction and infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with underwriters, risk engineers, and claims professionals to tailor insurance solutions while building strong broker and client relationships.

Join a program designed to develop core underwriting skills through hands-on experience, mentoring, and exposure to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field to be received no later than June 2027
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to operate in a professional environment
• Willingness to work in-office at least four days per week as part of the program

Responsibilities

• Support the evaluation and underwriting of risks associated with commercial construction and infrastructure projects.
• Review project information, financial data, loss history, and other exposures to support risk selection, pricing, and coverage decisions.
• Partner with underwriters, risk engineers, claims professionals, and other specialists to develop tailored insurance solutions.
• Build relationships with brokers and clients while supporting new business and renewal opportunities.
