Job summary

Lumity is seeking a Program Manager, Construction & Trades, to provide site-based leadership for the implementation of construction and workforce development programming in Maywood, IL. You will translate goals into actionable plans, coordinate instructors and partners, and ensure a safe, engaging learning environment for young adults.

The role emphasizes youth development, positive youth outcomes, and continuous program improvement, with close collaboration to the Case Manager and Program

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in relevant field.
• 3–5 years of experience in workforce development, youth development, or related programs.
• Experience coordinating complex programs with multiple partners, instructors, and schedules.
• Experience working with adolescents or young adults from under-resourced communities.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed practice and culturally responsive programming.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day implementation of Lumity's programming and ensure components operate as a cohesive participant experience.
• Translate goals and grant requirements into calendars, schedules, workflows, and milestones.
• Coordinate instructors, trainers, contractors, partners, and field experiences without direct supervision.
• Monitor program flow, engagement, and outcomes; identify gaps and implement improvements.
• Support recruitment activities, orientations, and major program milestones.
• Maintain organized program systems, documentation, and logistics for consistent implementation.
