Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher in Construction Technology or related field.
• Effective teaching experience at the collegiate level preferred.
• Ability to obtain NCCEER certification within the first four semesters of teaching.
• Possession of a valid Kansas driver’s license.
• Be an effective team member with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach Construction Technology courses at Hutchinson Correctional Facility.
• Teach with flexible schedules, including day/evening and online delivery.
• Maintain lab facilities, safety standards, and accessibility to students.
• Collaborate with KDOC representatives to follow policies.
• Develop and update curriculum, assessments, and evaluations.
• Attend required college meetings and participate in committees.
• Pursue professional development and maintain records as requested.
• Be punctual and comply with HutchCC policies.
