Job summary

BirdDogHR is seeking a full-time instructor to teach the Construction Technology program at Hutchinson Community College, primarily at the Hutchinson Correctional Facility. Responsibilities include developing and delivering curriculum, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and enhancing student engagement through effective teaching. Ideal candidates will have an associate degree in Construction Technology or a related field and effective communication skills. The position is 12 months, renewable annually, and benefit eligible.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain NCCEER certification within the first four semesters.
• Possess a valid Kansas driver’s license.
• Evidence of effective teaching experience at the collegiate level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach Construction Technology program courses at Hutchinson Correctional Facility.
• Design and develop course curriculum according to industry needs.
• Maintain safety standards in labs and shops.
