Job summary
Metropolitan Community College (Omaha) seeks a Construction Technology Instructor to teach a diverse community of learners with excellence and a commitment to student success, equity, and inclusion. The position is grant-funded ending August 31, 2027, with duties including curriculum review, outcomes assessment, and advisory council participation.
The 232-day, 12-month contract may include day, evening, and weekend classes and travel between MCC campuses.
Qualifications
- 8 years of FT related occupational experience
- 4 years FT related occupational experience plus Associate’s degree in discipline or related discipline
- 2 years FT related occupational experience plus Bachelor’s degree in discipline or related discipline
- Higher Education/Community College teaching experience preferred
- Ability to travel between MCC campuses for meetings or position responsibilities
- 232-day, 12-month contract
- Hiring process includes background check

- Teach a full range of construction program coursework with excellence
- Collaborate in curriculum review and development
- Engage in outcomes assessment and advisory council activities
- Participate in projects and other department or College activities
