Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0+ years’ experience in construction inspection or related field.
• Must be able to travel to job sites using a personal vehicle.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local codes and ordinances and building codes.
• Experience with soils, concrete, rebar layout, masonry, steel, etc.

Responsibilities

• Inputs data into pre-written computer programs.
• Operates computer and runs reports or calculations.
• Interprets construction plans and specifications.
• Observes construction operations on various sites to assess conformance to plans and specifications.
• Performs construction materials testing.
• Communicates effectively with staff, contractor personnel, and clients.
• Participates in technical training sessions and earns related certifications.
