Segra is searching for a dynamic and experienced Construction Technician to work within our Charlottesville, VA market.

The Construction Technician will oversee construction activities on-site, supervising contractors and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. They will report progress to the Construction or Project Manager and ensure adherence to company standards and best practices throughout the construction cycle.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of fiber, telecommunications, ROW, or relevant construction experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to lead a crew to complete projects on schedule, meeting customer requirements and budget guidelines.
• Understanding of construction and permitting prints.
• Assist in monitoring inventory and material usage during construction.
• Identify and troubleshoot construction problems, offering safe and timely solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong planning and organizational skills to prioritize work.
• Willingness to travel, including overnight and daily.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
