Job summary

Mobile Modular Management Corporation in Pasadena, CA seeks a Construction Service Assistant to support installation and repair of modular buildings, assist technicians, and train customers on maintenance. "A Day in the Life"

As a Construction Service Assistant some of your duties include going to customer sites to assist experienced service technicians in installing and repairing modular buildings and training customers on how to properly maintain the buildings. You will perform trial runs of any machinery (HVAC systems) to ensure performance rates and quality meet established specifications. Deliver exceptional customer experiences.

"What You'll Do"

• Performs troubleshooting, maintenance service, repairs and construction in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling and electrical in the field; generally in the company of a service technician
• Alongside a qualified service technician, performs maintenance and service repairs on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems
• Responsible for the safety, quality and productivity of themselves at all customer locations
• Responsible for positive interface with the customer and ensuring the company's reputation is improved with every customer contact
• Perform other duties as assigned

Special Considerations:

• Local travel daily and occasional overnight stays
• May be required to travel extended distances to customer sites
• Position requires manual dexterity and the ability to maintain physical activity for most of the day
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and hold or lift a variety of objects
  • Able to carry, bend, stoop, turn, kneel, crawl, climb a ladder and other manual labor activities
