Job summary

Frontier Communications in Wisconsin is seeking a field technician to install and maintain outdoor plant, following established safety practices and working in all weather conditions. The role requires learning to drive and operate a digger truck and trailer and obtaining a CDL by the end of the qualifying period.

Responsibilities include lifting tools, climbing ladders and poles, working from heights and in confined spaces, handling materials, and coordinating with teams to complete assignments

• Maintain and construct all outside plant to meet quality standards and company policies, and perform any other duties as assigned
• Coordinate with work forces to disseminate information and complete job assignments, and cooperate with other sections to attain company service objectives
• Maintain a professional image and support promotion of company products
• Demonstrate basic usage of a laptop computer with company-provided training by the end of the qualifying period and attend and pass any additional training schools as assigned
