CITADEL Pacific Ltd. is offering a temporary position to support the Broadband Equity Access and Deployment Project in the Northern Mariana Islands. The role involves installation and maintenance of fiber/cable lines while working in varying conditions.

This is a temporary position to support the Broadband Equity Access and Deployment (BEAD) Project. The role lasts a minimum of one year or until project completion and reports to the Outside Plant Supervisor. Duties include island-wide external plant maintenance and extensions such as digging, installing and securing fiber/cable lines, microducts, handholes, conduits, and clearing vegetation.
Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the minimum knowledge, abilities, and skills.
Position requires climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, picking, pinching, typing, and repetitive wrist and finger movements. Physical exertion up to 100 lbs occasionally, 50 lbs frequently, and 20 lbs constantly to move objects.
Exposition to extreme heat (temperatures above 100°F for more than one hour), noise requiring shouting to be heard, vibration, proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, scaffolding and elevated work, chemicals, fumes, dust, mists, gases, and poor ventilation. Work often occurs in narrow aisles, crawl spaces, shafts, manholes, small enclosed rooms, sewer and water line pipes, and other claustrophobic areas.
