Orkin is seeking motivated individuals to join its team as pest and home-protection technicians. The role emphasizes hands-on work in construction-adjacent tasks, with a paid training program that requires no prior pest-control experience.

You’ll install systems, perform attic and crawlspace services, and contribute to customer communications. The job offers a path to leadership, stability, and comprehensive benefits including health and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain state pesticide license within 90 days (company-paid training).
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work safely in attics or crawlspaces.
• You must wear PPE, including an OSHA-compliant respirator, as required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and install pest and home protection systems.
• Working collaboratively on a crew of technicians to complete a job.
• Complete attic and crawlspace services, including encapsulation and insulation.
• Light carpentry work.
• Communicate clearly with customers.
• Maintain company equipment and complete reports via handheld device.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

• Candidates with construction, roofing, HVAC, or maintenance experience (preferred)
• Strong work ethic and commitment to customer service

• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions, confined spaces, and on roofs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience using a metal brake to bend or shape metal components
