Job summary

Plantible Foods is seeking a detail‑oriented operations contributor to join the Upstream Processing team. You will support core production activities, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient manufacturing with cross‑functional partners.

The role emphasizes GMP compliance, accurate records, and continuous improvement in a collaborative environment. You will clock in/out consistently, follow SOPs and BRs, complete required training, and work across multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, food production, biotech, roustabout work, or construction.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience to guide peers.
• Willingness to cross-train across USP focus areas.
• Commitment to safety, GMP compliance and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate time reporting by clocking in/out consistently.
• Follow GMP, PPE, SOPs and safety protocols across shifts.
• Complete required training and remain available for multiple shifts.
• Read, understand and execute SOPs and Batch Records (BRs).
• Accurately fill batch records and document deviations when they occur.
• Develop independent proficiency in one USP unit operation within 60 days.
• Identify equipment in trained areas; explain function and process flow.
• Report errors or improvement opportunities to the USP Supervisor.
• Work efficiently, stay task-oriented and drive incremental process improvements.
• Foster a respectful, professional environment aligned with Plantible values.
• Collaborate with facility, maintenance and construction teams as needed.
• Participate in standard and non-standard tasks as assigned by the USP Supervisor.
• Cross-train across all USP focus areas.

How you will contribute:

You will join Plantible’s Upstream Processing (USP) team, supporting core production activities that ensure safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing operations. In this role, you’ll work closely with USP Supervisors and cross‑functional partners to maintain high standards of GMP compliance, operational accuracy, and continuous improvement. You’ll help foster a respectful, collaborative environment while actively contributing to daily production workflows and company values.

What you will be working on:

• Maintaining accurate time reporting by clocking in/out consistently.
• Following all GMP, PPE, SOPs, and safety protocols.
• Completing all required training and remaining available for multiple shifts.
• Reading, understanding, and executing SOPs and Batch Records (BRs).
• Correctly filling out batch records and documenting deviations when they occur.
• Achieving independent proficiency in one unit operation within one USP focus area within 60 days.
• Identifying equipment within trained areas and explaining equipment function, infrastructure, and process flow.
• Reporting errors or improvement opportunities and elevating issues immediately to the USP Supervisor.
• Working efficiently by staying task‑oriented and making incremental process improvements.
• Promoting a respectful and professional work environment aligned with company values.
• Collaborating with facility, maintenance, and construction teams when appropriate.
• Participating in both standard and non‑standard tasks assigned by the USP Supervisor.
• Becoming cross‑trained across all USP focus areas.
