Job summary

Plantible Foods, Inc. is seeking team-oriented individuals to join our Upstream Processing (USP) team.

You will support core production activities to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing operations, working with USP Supervisors and cross-functional partners to maintain high standards of GMP compliance and continuous improvement. You will help foster a respectful, collaborative environment while contributing to daily production workflows and upholding company values.

Qualifications

  • Must understand GMP standards.
  • Willingness to work multiple shifts.
  • Able to learn procedures quickly and perform them accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate time reporting by clocking in/out.
  • Follow GMP, PPE, SOPs and safety protocols.
  • Complete required training and be available for shifts.
  • Read, understand and execute SOPs and Batch Records.
  • Fill out batch records and document deviations.
  • Gain proficiency in one USP unit operation within 60 days.
  • Identify equipment and explain function and process flow.
  • Report errors or improvement opportunities to the USP Supervisor.
  • Stay task-oriented and pursue incremental process improvements.
  • Collaborate with facility, maintenance, and construction teams.

How you will contribute:

You will join Plantible’s Upstream Processing (USP) team, supporting core production activities that ensure safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing operations. In this role, you’ll work closely with USP Supervisors and cross‑functional partners to maintain high standards of GMP compliance, operational accuracy, and continuous improvement. You’ll help foster a respectful, collaborative environment while actively contributing to daily production workflows and company values.

What you will be working on:
  • Maintaining accurate time reporting by clocking in/out consistently.
  • Following all GMP, PPE, SOPs, and safety protocols.
  • Completing all required training and remaining available for multiple shifts.
  • Reading, understanding, and executing SOPs and Batch Records (BRs).
  • Correctly filling out batch records and documenting deviations when they occur.
  • Achieving independent proficiency in one unit operation within one USP focus area within 60 days.
  • Identifying equipment within trained areas and explaining equipment function, infrastructure, and process flow.
  • Reporting errors or improvement opportunities and elevating issues immediately to the USP Supervisor.
  • Working efficiently by staying task‑oriented and making incremental process improvements.
  • Promoting a respectful and professional work environment aligned with company values.
  • Collaborating with facility, maintenance, and construction teams when appropriate.
  • Participating in both standard and non‑standard tasks assigned by the USP Supervisor.
  • Becoming cross‑trained across all USP focus areas.
What you bring to Plantible:

  • Experience in manufacturing, food production, biotech, roustabout work, or construction, bringing hands‑on operational and mechanical awareness.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and document deviations.
  • Clear, professional communication skills and ability to explain processes and equipment functions.
  • A collaborative, respectful, and team‑focused work style aligned with Plantible’s values.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with strong task‑orientation.
  • Reliability, accountability, and ownership of daily responsibilities.
  • Flexibility to work multiple shifts and overtime as needed.
