Job summary

Plantible Foods is seeking an Upstream Processing team member to support production activities, ensuring safe and compliant manufacturing operations. You will work with USP Supervisors and cross‑functional partners to maintain GMP standards and drive continuous improvement.

You will help maintain accurate time reporting, read and execute SOPs, and be ready for multiple shifts while actively contributing to daily workflows and company values at Plantible Foods.

Qualifications

• Commitment to safety, compliance, and GMP standards.
• Ability to learn quickly and execute procedures with accuracy.
• Experience in manufacturing, food production, biotech, roustabout work, or construction brings hands‑on operational awareness.
• Demonstrate leadership or supervisory experience and guide peers.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document deviations.
• Clear, professional communication and ability to explain processes and equipment functions.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate time reporting by clocking in/out.
• Following all GMP, PPE, SOPs, and safety protocols.
• Completing all required training and being available for multiple shifts.
• Reading, understanding, and executing SOPs and Batch Records.
• Filling out batch records accurately and documenting deviations.
• Becoming cross-trained across USP focus areas within 60 days.
• Reporting errors or improvement opportunities to the USP Supervisor.
• Collaborating with facility, maintenance, and construction teams as needed.
• Participating in standard and non-standard tasks as assigned by the USP Supervisor.

How you will contribute:

You will join Plantible’s Upstream Processing (USP) team, supporting core production activities that ensure safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing operations. In this role, you’ll work closely with USP Supervisors and cross‑functional partners to maintain high standards of GMP compliance, operational accuracy, and continuous improvement. You’ll help foster a respectful, collaborative environment while actively contributing to daily production workflows and company values.

What you will be working on:

• Maintaining accurate time reporting by clocking in/out consistently.
• Following all GMP, PPE, SOPs, and safety protocols.
• Completing all required training and remaining available for multiple shifts.
• Reading, understanding, and executing SOPs and Batch Records (BRs).
• Correctly filling out batch records and documenting deviations when they occur.
• Achieving independent proficiency in one unit operation within one USP focus area within 60 days.
• Identifying equipment within trained areas and explaining equipment function, infrastructure, and process flow.
• Reporting errors or improvement opportunities and elevating issues immediately to the USP Supervisor.
• Working efficiently by staying task‑oriented and making incremental process improvements.
• Promoting a respectful and professional work environment aligned with company values.
• Collaborating with facility, maintenance, and construction teams when appropriate.
• Participating in both standard and non‑standard tasks assigned by the USP Supervisor.
• Becoming cross‑trained across all USP focus areas.
